Please keep in mind the following security best practices to avoid falling victim of this type of scam:
The most important rule is: think before you click. If you have any doubt about an E-mail or Internet site, or you suspect that your device has been compromised, please contact us!
Your Tech Department
As of January 31, 2019, we retired our old ticketing system and launched our new Bobcat Tech Support system powered by HappyFox. We found that HappyFox has all of the features we need to track, troubleshoot and resolve support issues while maintaining an end-user friendliness that we hope will remove the fear and hesitation of submitting a support ticket.
2018 update - this summer, we were busy with installing a new phone system.
Over the summer, the Tech Department had their hands full with Chromebook repairs and replacements.
The Tech Department has been busy updating Elementary labs with new Chromeboxes. Special thanks to Buildings and Grounds and Transportation Departments for their assistance in the effort.
Elementary school lab computers will soon be replaced with Chromeboxes. The School Board approved the purchase of HP Chromeboxes in the December 19, 2016 meeting. Chromeboxes run Google's Chrome Operating System and are the desktop variant of the Chromebook.
The Tech Department recently replaced an aged blade server chassis, blades and hard drive storage. The new system has more resources that will be able to provide services for the District network for the next five years. It is also more energy efficient than the previous system.
