School counselors are members of the Student Services department. 

We help all students in the areas of: academic achievement, personal/social development, & career development

We focus on ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of our future.

How can I support your child(ren)?

• Meet and Greets

  • Small group check-ins with every student. 

• Teacher meetings 

  • Meet with teachers each letter-day cycle to monitor student progress. 

• Classroom lessons 

• Parent conferences 

• Crisis prevention/intervention

• Member of the school climate/safety team

• Your child’s school advocate

• Lead monthly, school-wide Initiatives

• Conflict resolution/peer mediation

• Testing & scheduling:

  • Create student schedules over the summer

  • Assist with state testing

  • Assist with organizing CogATs in their 6th grade year

  • Proctor new student testing for placement

• Member of I&RS & 504 committee

• Individual counseling
