The members of the Student Services Department provide a continuum of services to the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Through the efforts of this department, students will learn more about themselves, their abilities, their interests and their needs. Student Services hopes to generate an atmosphere that allows for the individual student to experience and develop, not only academically but socially and personally as well. The goal is to help students develop into responsible individuals able to cope with situations as they arise.
Department members will assist students in maximizing their strengths and learning the decision-making skills necessary to help them work through problem situations. They act as advocates and provide support for students when dealing with family, peer and school issues. Parents are encouraged to contact the department, during the school day, with any questions or concerns regarding their child.Â
