Often we want to use other people's photos or sound clips when we are creating school projects.
BUT...These are created by other people...are we ripping them off by just 'taking' their work without asking? If they put all the effort into creating their song or artwork, is it fair that we just copy it?
When people release their work onto the internet they can choose what license they release it under. This may be 'all rights reserved' or 'free to reuse', or anything in between.
When you use someone else's work, it is important that you know how to attribute it properly - how to give them the credit for their work. You need to know how to find:
