Description:
In this project we will apply the concepts of Line Detection to develop a program that detects lane markings from a moving vehicle. Your program will detect the lanes and then provide feedback to the driver on the status of the vehicle (in the lane, drifting right, drifting left). The goal is to explore and use the OpenCV library to analyze images in real time and simulate the software used in driver assist technology.

Process:
Follow the directions at: http://nebomusic.net/perception/Project03_Lane_Detection_Lines.pdf
After your group has developed and tested the lane detection code, we will do a road test to gather results.
Deliverables:
1. Your group will write a paper outlining the process you used to identify the lane lines and how to detect if you were “out of lane”. (Two to four paragraphs summarizing the results from each phase)
2. Your paper should have code samples / algorithm summaries and at least 1 screenshot or image from each of the 4 phases. (Total of 4 images).
3. Place the names of all the group members on the Name area of the paper (upper left hand corner).
Project 3: Application of HoughLines
Name 1, Name 2, Name 3
Term 3: 2022
4. One group member upload the paper to Google Classroom by the Due Date.
