Description:
In this lesson you will use your phone or camera and take pictures for image editing this term. Be creative and work to curate a large selection of images with a variety of subjects (people, objects, landscapes, near shots, distant shots, action pictures, scenes . . .)
Make sure to save the images as .jpg files. Newer Apple devices save images as .heif files. You will need to convert these to .jpg for use with OpenCV. Feel free to use Photoshop to crop and resize images as needed. Avoid editing the images with Photoshop beyond resizing.
Deliverables:
Take at least 15 pictures and curate them into a folder on your Google Computational Photography folder called "Source Images".
Mr. Michaud will check these in class.
