Lesson 08: Graspers

Description:

Now that you have a training robot setup for the FTC Game, work to improve the grasper to be quicker and more reliable in getting game elements.

Suggestions:

  1. Think about turning the Grasper so that the "fingers" point down inside of side to side.

  2. Use a non-movable part for the forward or leading edge finger. This will allow the robot to "claw out" a block or sphere from within the pile.

  3. Experiment with using CoreHex motors instead of servos.

Deliverables:

  1. Take a picture of each improvement and place it on your Weekly Google Slide Updates.

  2. Write at least two sentences for each picture that describe the improvement and document if it was successful or not.
