¡Buen camino! Following in the footsteps of millions, you are embarking on a journey. You will learn how to communicate in ways you never before dreamed possible. Each pilgrim that traverses Spain on the Camino de Santiago is accustomed to the greeting, "Buen camino." It is a wish that the journey go well for the walker. Each pilgrim has certain things with them in their pack to help them along the way. Each pilgrim encounters obstacles, unique for each yet shared communally. As you embark on this experience, you will find that you have similar supports and obstacles. In your teacher, you have a guide who will show you the way. Yet you must be the one who walks it. Like the peregrinos, you must learn to walk with others, as the proverb states "Alone we go faster, but together we go further." You may not always like your companions, but you are stronger together. Like one who has walked 20-30 kilometers in a day, you will become fatigued. Yet you must not give up.
