Expectation: Students will study Spanish vocabulary at least 30 minutes per day.
- Recommendation One: Break the 30 minutes into 3-5 minute chunks. Keep flash cards handy so you can go over them in the car, in a line, at lunch, or any other place where you unexpectedly have a few minutes.
- Recommendation Two: Download the Quizlet app and use it for always with you, always up to date vocabulary practice.
- Recommendation Three: Study vocabulary we haven't seen in a while so that you remember it when you really need it.
Expectation: Students will complete homework in a timely and accurate manner.
- Recommendation One: Do your homework at the beginning of the week it is assigned, not at the end.
- Recommendation Two: If you get a lower grade than you thought you would, ask Mr. Gimmy about it before or after school. If you can't come in either of those times, send him an email.
Expectation: Students will contribute to a positive learning environment in class.
- Recommendation One: Allow everyone a chance to be heard.
- Recommendation Two: Listen to music only when given the okay.
- Recommendation Three: Engage with your fellow students in group work.
