Parent and Family Education

Parent and Family Education

Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships is actively working with the community on strategies aimed at reducing the prevalence of underage drinking, cannabis, tobacco, vaping, opioids and other drug use among local youth. The Let’s Talk parent and community education campaign will be central to answering the call to action around the Fentanyl Crisis. Let’s Talk booklets, are distributed in hard copy to families of incoming 6th and 9th graders at public schools and some independent schools across the county and are available electronically. This year they  are being updated to fold in critical messaging around fentanyl. For the 2022-23 school year there will be four community discussions. The first discussion will be in the fall with the focus on drugs including fentanyl use and education. For further information please contact Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships at info@mhyp.org

Please check back for more information. As planning continues updates will be posted.
