EXPANDED CURRICULUM PLANNING

A team of educators, including wellness leaders, health instructors and curriculum experts from Marin County High School Districts has been formed to review and share best practices, adaptation of model programs, development of collaborative programs, and explore options of integrating drug and substance use curriculum units and activities across all grade levels.

**Update: January 2023 ~The Expanded Curriculum Planning Call to Action Team has collaborated with OD Free Marin in creating a Substance Use Prevention Resource Hub. It can be accessed directly from the OD Free Marin main page through the "For Educators" tab. It is grounded in collaborative work under the leadership of OD Free Marin at Marin County's Health and Human Services. In it, contains resources that have been vetted by public health professionals and Marin County educators, for use by high school educators and educational leadership. Partners include representatives from Novato Unified School District, San Rafael City Schools, Shoreline Unified School District, and Tamalpais Unified School District.
