Our Philosophy

Laguna School’s educational philosophy is based on educating the ‘whole child’ in a safe and nurturing environment. Emphasis is on a strong academic program, balanced with a project-based curriculum, hands-on enrichment activities, differentiated instruction, art, music, and a comprehensive technology program. We offer a private school experience in a public school setting. Our curriculum is specifically tailored to meet every child's individual needs. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to fostering the personal best from each child and developing a strong partnership between home and school.

 Our History

Laguna District School was established with a land grant in 1906, the year of the great earthquake. The ranch families of the Chileno Valley sent their children to Laguna to get their grammar school education.
