2024-2025

Thank you for your interest in joining Marin Catholic's Cheer Team for the 2024 - 2025 Season! 


Two separate tryouts will be held. The first will be for current students in April. The second will be for incoming Freshmen / other students who are new to Marin Catholic which will be held in June. 


While no experience is required, we are looking for candidates with a strong sense of commitment, 

a great work ethic and positive attitude!

REQUIRED PARENT/STUDENT INFORMATION MEETING

A meeting will be held in for interested students AND their parents on Wednesday, April 17 at 4:30pm in JPII to discuss the season, tryouts, commitment and requirements for the team. 


TRYOUT CLINICS

Wednesday, April 17, 6:30 - 8:30pm - in the gym

Thursday, April 18, 6:00 - 8:00pm - in the gym

Friday, April 19, 6:00 - 8:00pm - in the gym

Saturday, April 20, 9:00am - 11:00am - in the gym

Incoming freshmen/new students

OPTIONAL MEET AND GREET FOR PARENTS

A casual meet and greet will be held with the coaching staff for interested students AND their parents on Saturday, June 8 from 5:00 - 5:30pm to answer any questions about the season, tryouts, commitment and requirements for the team.

how to register & Prepare

All prospective team members and their parents are required to review the team handbook and complete the team application together prior to attending the first tryout clinic.

What to wear

Appropriate Athletic Shorts and T-shirt/Tank 

(MC colors encouraged and no bare midriffs or prior cheer team attire/logos)

Cheer or Athletic Shoes

No Jewelry

Long hair pulled back in a tight ponytail

What to bring

A Full Water Bottle

Healthy Snack

Positive Attitude!
