Week of November 2nd, 2025
Sunday, November 2, 2025 – All Saints’ Day
Readings: Daniel 7:1–3, 15–18; Ephesians 1:11–23; Luke 6:20–31
Reflection:
Daniel sees a vision of God’s eternal dominion, reminding us that all earthly struggles are held within God’s unshakable reign. Paul celebrates the inheritance we have in Christ—chosen, sealed, and empowered by the Spirit. Jesus blesses the poor, the meek, and those who show mercy, teaching that God’s kingdom is lived in humility, compassion, and generosity. Today, we remember the saints who have gone before us, not as distant figures, but as witnesses of faith who leaned on God and lived out grace in tangible ways. True strength is found in living God’s mercy, sustaining one another, and trusting the promise of resurrection.
Question for Reflection:
How can I embody the faith and mercy of the saints in my life today?
Prayer:
God of eternal life, thank you for the witness of your saints. Strengthen me to live with humility, mercy, and courage, trusting your promise in every season.
Today’s Intention:
Honor one “saint” in your life today by emulating their faith, kindness, or courage in a tangible way.

God of justice, help me act with courage and humility. Let me discern wisely and follow your guidance in truth and love.

Reflection:
Zechariah calls God’s people to sincere obedience, not mere external ritual. Jude warns against those who corrupt faith with arrogance and greed. The psalmist teaches that God desires hearts turned fully toward Him. Real strength is not in cleverness or influence, but in faithful persistence—leaning on God’s truth and grace in all circumstances.
Question for Reflection:
How can I cultivate obedience and faithfulness in ways that reflect God’s grace today?
Prayer:
Faithful God, align my heart with your will. Keep me steadfast in obedience and humble in all I do.

Reflection:
Amos calls out injustice and empty worship, urging God’s people to live with justice and righteousness. In Luke, Jesus’ parable reminds us that faithful stewardship is measured by humility, effort, and service, not position or appearance. The psalmist emphasizes that God judges hearts, not outward show. Real strength grows when we lean on God’s mercy to guide our actions toward justice and faithful living.
Question for Reflection:
What area of my life might God be calling me to bring into alignment with justice and mercy?

Reflection:
The psalmist seeks refuge and vindication in God’s steadfast love. Deuteronomy reminds the community of responsibilities toward one another, even in ordinary relationships. Paul’s bold witness in Acts shows that true strength comes not from power or status, but from leaning on God’s protection and guidance in challenging situations. Faith and humility allow God’s purpose to prevail.

How can I trust God to guide me through difficult circumstances today?
