I’m Kristin — the therapist and founder of Marigold Horizons Therapy serving individuals and families across Michigan through telehealth. I help people navigate substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, perinatal mental health, and the complexities of everyday life with compassion, clarity, judgement free, evidence‑based care.
My work blends clinical rigor with real‑world understanding. I use evidence-based approaches drawing from EMDR, CBT, DBT-informed, Motivational Interviewing, and PMH-trained practices.
I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. I also maintain a certification through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals for being a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am actively working on obtaining a certification through Post Partum Support International (PSI) to become a Certified Perinatal Mental Health clinician (PMH-C).
Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me with my family, my kids, or outside somewhere grounding myself in nature. Those moments remind me why I do this work. Healing is possible, and no one should have to do it alone.
