I am a licensed clinical social worker in Michigan with nine years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University. Additionally, I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CAADC), credentialed through the Michigan Certified Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP).
With a diverse background in addiction therapy, community mental health, rural private practice, and medical social work, I have extensive experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, borderline personality disorder, trauma, and severe and persistent mental illness.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I integrate various therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Problem-Solving approaches—to tailor treatment plans to each client’s unique needs and goals.
