Type: The Wendigo is considered to be a supernatural being, which is typically portrayed as a vengeful spirit or as a monstrous, humanoid, cannibalistic being.

Appearance: Legends are so diverse as to be anything but, the Wendigo is typically described as a thin malevolent humanoid with a hollow gaze, sharp claws and teeth. Several stories describe it as a beast that enlarges from each human it eats and reaches a size of up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) in height. 

Legends: Myth tells us, that humans can become a Wendigo by cannibalism, prolonged exposure to it/being entrapped into Wendigo condition, as a consequence of the excessive craving for wealth or becoming the victim of malign features. The Wendigo is a being which is described to have sold its spirit to the Devil in order to save his own band of relatives.

Possible theories: Researchers suggest that the Wendigo myth was a manifestation of a way for Indigenous communities to cope with the long winter, food deprivation for an extended period, and potentially even cannibalization. Some also interpret it as a symbol of potential greed.

Physical Description: The Wendigo is typically depicted as a thin, white, haggard creature with very taut skin over skeletal bone, tearing claws and teeth and with its eyes that burn. Legends depict it as a bestial creature buries, or a giant made of bone, smoke or ice is covering.

Sightings: Current reported Wendigo appearance sightings, for example, an eyewitness report from Kentucky, in which a woman reportedly took a video recording of a beast, moving around during nighttime hours, calling for the participation of a Wendigo. and if you ever here someone screaming from help in woods don't go in because chances are that they are trying to lore you in to eat you. remeber you could never out run them they are very fast runner and good cliamers 

Fun Fact:  There exist some traditions that state the only acceptable way of killing a Wendigo is to remove the heart and burn it, or to take iron, steel or silver weapons and strike it using the shaman's method.
