NATIONAL 4-H WEEK
DAY 1 - 4-H Youth Beach Day
On October 2nd, the 4-H Tinian Youth kicked off National 4-H Week with a beach day at Taga Beach. The 4-H'ers enjoyed a swim in the clear blue waters, play volleyball on the shore, and share a potluck lunch with each other.
DAY 2 - Wear Green Monday at Tinian High School
For the second day of National 4-H Week, 4-H collaborated with the Tinian High School Student Council in making the day "Wear Green Monday." Students were able to showcase their 4-H Spirit by wearing anything green and posting their fit on social media, while tagging both 4-H Marianas and Stallion STUCO.
DAY 3 - 4-H Youth Sports Day
On the third day, the Tinian 4-H'ers gathered together at the Jones Beach 2nd Pavilion for Youth Sports Day. There, the students all enjoyed games such as Volleyball, Football, Badminton, and many more. The students were also able to enjoy a quick snack provided by 4-H.
DAY 4 - Paint Night AT JONES BEACH
Tinian 4-H'ers once again gathered at the Jones Beach 2nd Pavilion for Paint Night. There, everyone was given a canvas as well as a variety of paint to choose from to create a painting that they had in mind. Everyone enjoyed the event and got to socialize with one another.
DAY 5 - "Honk for 4-H" Community Waving
On the fifth day, Tinian 4-H'ers came together for a community waving across the Bank of Guam Intersection to spread the word about 4-H Marianas to the community.
DAY 6 - Volunteer for your Community Day
Tinian's 4-H members gathered at the Ohala Foundation to assist the organization in their bi-weekly food distribution. There, students helped collect donations and distributed food bags to those that are in need in the community.
DAY 7 - Light up the Sky Event
On the final day of National 4-H Week, members gathered once again at Taga Beach to commemorate the end of the week. There, participants wrote messages and wishes onto lanterns then finally releasing them as the sun sets on the horizon.
