Fencing

En Garde!

Marian Central offers the unique sport of fencing, which entails competitive sword-fighting. We are also the only fencing team in all of McHenry County!

Practices will be held during the Winter sports season on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 3-5 PM in the cafeteria. 

While fencing is not an IHSA sport, we are a member of the Great Lakes Conference. Meets, tournaments, and championships are held on Saturdays in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
