What a fantastic week it has been for our sports teams!
Wealden Cricket Afternoon
On Monday, our cricket team headed to Dulwich for an afternoon of cricket. Marden won their match against High Halden, even saying hello to Mr De-Keyzer! They then played Goudhurst in a very close game, only losing by 1 run. They played really well and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play with other schools.
KS2 Visit to Marden Cricket & Hockey Club
Next Thursday, KS2 are walking to the Marden Cricket and Hockey Club for coaching, activities and matches. A letter has been sent to parents with all the information, please read this carefully.
LKS2 Rounders Tournament
A huge congratulations to our LKS2 rounders team who won 1st place at the rounders tournament on Thursday. They won all five of their matches and even enjoyed the trip in the minibus. We are so proud of their hard work - go team! Finally, well done to Stanley for getting 'Player of the Match'.
UKS2 Rounders Tournament
On Thursday afternoon, our UKS2 rounders team also headed to Greenfields to compete in a tournament. Up against 10 schools, the team came 2nd overall! What a fantastic day for Marden sports, Miss Williams is very proud of you all. Finally, well done to Siobhan for getting 'Player of the Match'.

A final thank you to all parents and carers who have supported sporting events, tournaments and matches at Marden over the last few terms. We are not always able to borrow the LAT minibus and therefore not able to attend so many events without your support, we know how hard finding the time to take your children to events is!
There are lots more exciting events coming up in Module 6 and we look forward to sharing this with you and the children.
