By far, the most popular book chosen for summer reading was:
One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus
The students read a variety of books over the summer including mysteries, adventure stories, fantasy books, sports novels, and even some nonfiction! Then they wrote alternate endings, drew images from the story, created timelines of the plot, built sculptures and 3-D printed models, and made "gifts" for the storybook characters. One student even made a screen-printed t-shirt for one of the book characters!
Come take a look at all of these awesome projects!
