About The Teacher

My name is Kim Thomas. I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Art Education with an emphasis in photography. I have been teaching art at MFHS for 11 years and working hard to create great opportunities for our visual arts students.

I am currently responsible for all AP art, Drawing and Ceramics classes as well as the National Arts Honors Society sponsor and the advanced Visual Arts Scholastic Event (UIL) teams.

This site is intended to share the success of our young artists and program information with parents, families and guardians.
