About Ms. Guthrie
This year marks my 20th year in education and my 19th year with Marble Falls ISD. I have had the privilege of serving in several roles throughout my career, and I am currently in my 7th year as an elementary school counselor. Education has always been a calling for me, and I am deeply committed to creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment where every student feels valued and capable of success.
As a counselor, my goal is to help students develop the tools they need to navigate both academic and personal challenges. I strive to empower students to advocate for themselves, make positive choices, and build confidence in their abilities. A large part of my work centers around teaching self-regulation and social-emotional skills that help students manage their emotions, solve problems, and build healthy relationships. I believe that when students feel safe, supported, and understood, they are better able to learn and thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a proud mom to three wonderful daughters—ages 23, 19, and 16—who continue to inspire me every day. Watching them grow and pursue their goals reminds me of why I love working with young people and helping them reach their fullest potential.
