What does it mean to research?

Asking questions and looking for answers – like a detective trying to solve a mystery!
Finding information in books, on the internet, or by asking people to learn more about a topic.
Research helps us understand things better so we can explain them or make good decisions.

Research does not mean...

Just copying from a book or website – it's about understanding and learning, not just writing down what you see.
Making up information – you have to find real facts from trustworthy sources.
Guessing – you need to look for answers using books, videos, or people who know a lot about the topic.
