Meet the Library Media Specialist
Mrs. Riesgraf is your go to for all things library!
I completed my degree in Elementary Education with a specialized endorsement in Reading at Iowa State University. I have spent my career teaching at several grade levels including 4K, Kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grades. My husband Brad and I have three busy children and love attending all of their events. In our free time, our family enjoys camping, kayaking and traveling. Of course one of my favorite things to do is read books of all types. I am very excited to be working in the library where I can help connect students to the world of literacy!
If you have any questions or need assistance please reach out via phone or email.
Meet the Library Media Support Staff
I have an associate degree in Marketing and spent several wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom to my five kids. I later began working in public education as a library media support staff member and teacher aide at Edgar, where I discovered my love for helping students explore and enjoy reading. I’m now the library media support staff for MAES and MVA, where I get to share my passion for books, learning, and creativity with students every day.
In my spare time, I love traveling with our family to our National Parks and spending time in the mountains — the higher and snowier, the better!
