The Maquoketa Valley FFA chapter provides all of the vegetables and herbs for the community garden. Members also care for the garden throughout the summer months by weeding, harvesting and fertilizing the crops. 

Members facilitate pedal tractor pull's for community members at local parades and gatherings. 

MV FFA members host Farm Safety Day every spring for elementary students from Johnston Elementary and Earlville Elementary. 

In the fall members give back to the farmers that support our chapter by providing meals to them in the field. 

Our CTE Department sponsors a farmers market each May at the Delhi City Park. MV FFA sets up an area to sell our hanging baskets, flowers and vegetables from the greenhouse.
