The Delhi FFA Chapter was founded on the 13 of March in 1934. The chapter was founded by its first members Russell L. Schnittjer (President), Dale C. Wendt (Vice President), Bertrand L. Thibadeau (Secretary), Glenn L. Smith (Treasurer), Charles L. Clark (Reporter), Harlan Appleby, Raymond S. Orcutt, Warren S. Sweaney, Russell E. Sheppard, Earl J. Durey, Harold L. Reth, John Maulson, Paul E. Petlon, George R. Shearer, and their Advisor Raymond Lanning. 27 years later the Delhi FFA chapter will change its name to what it is now know as the Maquoketa Valley FFA chapter.
Above in 1957, the Delhi FFA Chapter poses after one of their members Ernest Reth received his FFA Iowa Farmer Degree. At the time the chapter's Advisor was Alvin Klein. George Shearer also received his FFA Iowa Farmer Degree in 1937 only 4 years after the Delhi FFA chapter was founded.
