All enrichment opportunities are built into the full day program which is based on Grade Level.
Transportation:
**MAPS will not be providing bus transportation for summer school this year due to budgetary constraints. One exception to this will be busing between Kate Goodrich and PRMS for swimming lessons. Parents/Guardians will be responsible for drop off and pick up at your child's primary educational site.**
4K - 4th Grade Attendance:
Parents must call whenever a child is absent or tardy. If your child will not be attending class due to illness or vacation, please call Casey Hanson at Kate Goodrich (715-536-5233 ext. 13000). Messages should be left no later than 8:00 a.m. Please inform the school prior to planned absences.
Regular attendance is expected from pupils enrolled in summer school. Students who plan extended vacations or have other special plans should not enroll in summer school.
Parents who are taking a student out of any class early must check the student out at the office. This is done for your child's safety.
9th Grade - 11th Grade Attendance:
If a student is attending a class for credit (remedial or otherwise), they may be excused for one day. Please email bradley.potter@mapsedu.org to excuse a student from class. This is not needed for Strength and Conditioning.
In some classes, once a student has finished the required curriculum for the class, the teacher may dismiss them for the remaining classes.
Breakfast and Lunch:
Both breakfast and lunch will be free to all students who participate in the summer school program.
