THEME: One Stage, Many Voices
Location Date: March 26-28, 2026
Theme this Year!
One Stage, Many Voices” reflects how God has given each person a unique gift. When we bring those gifts together, we create harmony that glorifies Him. Through music, we celebrate unity, diversity, and the joy of praising together as one
What’s New This Year?
We are excited to share several updates for this year’s Music Festival. These changes are designed to enhance the overall experience and make the festival more engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Festival Updates:
The festival’s mass songs will be reduced to four, instead of five. ( Swing Low, Look at the world, For the Beauty of the Earth and Eatnemen Vuelie)
Each school’s individual song will be performed during the Saturday main concert. To maintain a high-quality program, we will be reviewing the overall performance quality of each selection.
Friday vespers will be an interactive vespers service, led by Maplewood Academy, rather than a vespers concert.
T-shirt signing will return this year, with a few guidelines in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students.
We will hold a separate Sabbath Service worship instead of joining the Hutchinson SDA Church. A sign-up sheet will be provided for students who wish to participate. Parents are welcome to attend.
The T-shirt design contest for next year 2027 is now open. Designs must be submitted in digital format (such as Canva) to ensure they are accessible for printing and editing.
Parents waiver form will be provided.
Sponsors may purchase meal tickets for parents who will be joining the Sabbath lunch at the cafeteria during registration.

Please feel free to make copies of the music for your students so they may begin preparing for the festival. You may use these in rehearsals to introduce the students to the music before they arrive on campus. We have printed sheet music for the students once they arrive for the festival. Remember, the music (originals and any copies made) is the property of Maplewood Academy and must be returned at the end of the festival checkout.
Note: The music sheets have been updated. Please check that you have printed “For the Beauty of the Earth” in SATB form, not the two-part version. Thank you!
Rehearsal Note: Please study and practice the hand gestures as demonstrated in the attached video.
Rehearsal Note: We will be using the four-part (SATB) version of For the Beauty of the Earth. If you have the two-part version, please note that it will no longer be used.
Would you be interested in singing the solo part for the song ‘Look at the World’?
We are selecting one girl and one boy for the solo roles. Please be prepared for live auditions during the music festival.
Also, for the song “For the Beauty of the Earth,” we will need one soprano soloist.
