The benefits of resistance training and exercise are well documented and recommended by numerous organizations. Despite the benefits, the weight room and resistance training exercises can be dangerous if training and proper form is not conducted correctly.
Whenever you are in the strength training facility (or in this case wherever you chose to exercise) please honor and abide by all of our normal rules and regulations and use a spotter if needed to prevent injury to you or others around you.
If you ever have any doubt about the safety of using a substitute piece of equipment consult me or another coach.
It is recommended that you have an up to date physical before participating in any of the activities our program has to offer and consult with a physician about any health issues you may have or think you may have before starting this program.
An athlete/student assumes the risk of participating in an activity when he or she is made aware of, understands the dangers of and voluntarily chooses to be exposed to those potential dangers.
The individual, through expressed or implied agreement, assumes the responsibility that some risk or danger will be involved in the undertaking of any of the activities in this program
