In this episode, Ms. Susan from the Matteson Area Public Library District will briefly go over the five early literacy practices from the “Every Child Ready to Read” program. Then she will focus on the first of the five early literacy practices: talking. You will learn: (a) how to take a picture walk, (b) how to encourage your child to talk about the book they are listening to, and (c) how to teach your child to take turns when having a conversation.
