Visual Motor Activities/Games
1. Puzzles- any kind, even make your own by drawing a picture, cutting it into shapes, and pasting it back onto a blank paper.
2. Mazes- maze books, draw your own, do them with chalk on the driveway.
3. Matching- put an assortment of two matching objects into a large bucket or tub (even filled with water!), take turns pulling out two objects that match and put them together on the ground.
4. Tracking- lay on your back in the yard and use your finger to track fluffy clouds going across the sky- how many can you count. Also track any airplanes you see. (can do seated and with cars passing too)
5. Tracing- trace shapes, numbers, letters with your finger- off a dry erase board, in pudding, in suds, in whipped topping, in the sand, in ice cream!
6. Dot-to-Dot- in a book, or make your own.
7. Peg boards- or legos.
8. Cards- old maid, go fish, crazy 8’s also good for rainy days.
