Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Shannon Brown and I have been with the Mansfield Township School District since 2006. I absolutely love this school; it's like my second home. When I started teaching at MTES I taught 4th grade. Then I moved to 3rd grade for a while. After several years in 3rd, I moved to 5th for three years and now I am happy to be back in 4th grade!
I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2006 where I studied Elementary Education and Psychology. I later graduated from Holy Family University where I received my Masters in Education, specifically in the area of reading.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter who will be 9 in October of 2025 and a son who will be 4 in October of 2025. Of course I can't forget the family dog, Charlotte, who is a mini schnauzer. My husband has his CPA and is an accountant. As a family we love going to the pool, going out to dinner, having movie nights, and going on little adventures.
I am looking forward to the 2025 - 2026 school year and can't wait to see the growth that each student makes this year!
