Partnerships & Grants

SNHU

At the beginning of our adventure in STEAM in Fall of 2015, SNHU's Education Department partnered with us. We have been most fortunate to have established this relationship as it has benefited our students greatly.

Beginning in Spring of 2016, SNHU EDU students began to enter our classrooms. They have offered small group interventions as well as enrichment. They have also developed and delivered lesson plans, along side their professors.

We were blessed with a large amount of grant money from SNHU EDU to purchase much needed supplies for our classroom. We have purchased new STEAM furniture, technology, and other day-to-day materials. These have been such a fantastic addition to enriching our STEAM program.

THE BEAN FOUNDATION GRANT

The STEAM Team, along with help from Mr. Bob Baines, applied for a grant with the BEAN Foundation. We were so fortunate to have been awarded this grant! The BEAN Foundation met with our team and listened to the change we were trying to execute in education. They loved the ideas that we had and wanted to support our growth in STEAM and Project Based Learning. This was a significant grant that has allowed us to spend a great deal of time with a STEAM/PBL consultant to reflect and revise our process to make it even better of a program. We have made great gains in the past year thanks to the availability of this grant and the professional development that we were able to take part in because of it.
