A Disability Certificate is required to avail of schemes and benefits provided by the Government through its various Ministries and their Departments. The Department of Health & Family Welfare of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has authorised hospitals for it.
Learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities are to be provided with need-based provisions such as writer, technological devices etc. during the Open Basic Education (3rd to 8th Class) and Secondary Examination of NIOS.
