As part of Child Safe Standard 3 the College is required to have a code of conduct that establishes clear expectations for appropriate behaviour with children. A child safe code of conduct articulates what types of behaviour are appropriate and inappropriate.
The following process is used within the classroom environment to protect the right of every student to be part of an environment where they are able to learn.
The Positive Behaviour Matrix clarifies what our behaviours should look, sound and feel like. Our expected behaviours are explicitly taught in every classroom and consistently reinforced through out the school.
The Behaviour Matrix is currently under review. Staff, students and the community will contribute to the review and the updated Behaviour Matrix will be implemented across the whole college in 2025 as part of the School Wide Positive Behaviours Framework.
