To kick off the Christmas festivities, Reception created their very own Christmas baubles to hang on their trees! They also decorated their own Christmas cookies!
To welcome Winter, some children created some beautiful winter paintings using hand prints!
This week Reception have been reading the story 'The Three Little Pigs', they learnt about different materials that make a house strong! They immitated these houses using different materials!
To celebrate and raise awareness for 'Children in Need', Reception wore pjs and decorated their own headbands!
They learnt all about how children all around the country are affected and discussed different things they could do to help!
Reception were busy this week learning about more, fewer and equals! They gave objects to different animals, they had to explain to has more, fewer or an equal amount!
Children were busing creating a magical potion today, mixing lots of colours together. For a special touch they added glitter!
Reception had an incredible dance party to kick off the new half-term! They showed of their amazing dance moves!
This week Reception learnt all about Autumn! Children went on a lovely Autumn walk and collected red, brown and orange leaves that had fallen from the trees!
The children kicked off the week by learning numbers 1 - 3! They were tasked with ordering, subitising and writing numbers! A big task for little minds but they were definately up to the challenge!
