PBL is a hands-on, student-centered, independent style of learning. The entire curriculum is centered around projects that have real-world applications. It is different than traditional learning environments which are generally teacher-led and heavy on subject content.

This class is a two-hour block that counts for both English and Science credit as it takes place during a student’s regular English and Science class. It is not an elective. Although students still meet the regular English and Science standards, the focus is on project themes instead of the specific subject areas.
