Roles & Responsibilities
Every Year 6 student at Mangonui School will be given the opportunity to take on leadership role. Students who choose to take on these roles and complete them effectively and responsibly will be thanked with termly rewards for their efforts.

Amber, Josie, Mackenzie and Shiloh are our librarians this year.

Rangikapiti Kaitiaki Kids
Brock, Peyton and Cooper are our Kaitiaki kids. They look after Rangikapiti, grown seedlings and water our plants.

Lunchtime game leaders
Two Year 6 students each lunch time organise sports activities for the rest of our school. Students all students from NE to year 6 are able to join in their games.

Kapa Haka Leaders
Leah, Summer and Te Ahere are our Kapa Haka leaders. They work alongside Whaea Frances to learn new waiata and action then share their new learning with the rest of the school each week.

Jabez, Summer, Te Ahere and Brock are in charge of making lunches as a fundraiser for our end of year camp. They work alongside Alisha to whip up delicious, healthy meals.

Starting from the beginning of the year we are actively fundraising for our year 6 end of year camp.
Each student is responsibly for earning $100 to go towards camp.
