1. Lay out your parchment paper on the table, with the coffee filter on top2. Set up your watercolor painting space3. Wet the coffee filter with clean water and a clean brush4. Choose the colors you would like to use. (analogous colors work great!)5. Add water to watercolor palette, and paint on to the coffee filter6. Add color to the desired spots of the filter. 7. Allow filter to dry on the parchment paper. 8. Hang the colorful filter in a window to enjoy colorful filtered light! 9. Optional: Fold the flinter into a triangle, then using scissors, cut it into a unique shape; ie., a sun, a flower, or snowflake!
