1. Set up painting space2. Pour tempera or acrylic paint into bowls. 3. Cut strings into 12 inch pieces. (one string per color)4. Cut Paper into half sheets. 5. Put on gloves and paint shirt6. Lay one half sheet of paper out on the table7. Dip string into a paint bowl8. Using fingers, gently squeeze extra paint off string.9. Lay the painty string on the piece of paper leaving a little tail sticking out the edge of the paper.10. Lay a second half sheet of paper over the first paper and the string11. Press the pages together gently, and hold firmly12. While holding the pages together pull the string out from between both pieces paper. 13. Set the string in the paint bowl it came from14. Lift the two pages apart and check out your cool string print! 15. Repeat to your hearts content!
