1. Cut open a large brown paper bag. 2. In pencil, draw a picture of your favorite animal big in the middle of the paper. 3. In pencil draw a patterned border using lines and shapes around the edge of the paper.4. Set up for painting with acrylic or tempera paint5. Crumple the paper bag, then smooth it out, and crumple again. 6. Smooth out the paper again7. Paint in your picture. (DO NOT PAINT the background behind your animal! It must stay brown paper!)8. Paint your border in9. Let the paint dry10. Hang your work up and enjoy! Don't forget to email, me, Ms. Alys a picture of your Amate! I cannot wait to see what you create!
