About Robotics

The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches, and mentors work during a six-week period to build robots capable of competing in that year's game. Robots complete tasks such as scoring balls into goals, placing inner tubes onto racks, hanging on bars, and balancing robots on balance beams theses task change annually and each pose their own challenge.

The High School robotics season starts in January and ends in April. The FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high school students, coaches, and mentors work during a six-week period to build robots capable of competing in that year's game. Robots complete tasks such as scoring balls into goals, placing inner tubes onto racks, hanging on bars, and balancing robots on balance beams; these tasks change annually and each pose their own challenge. Both competitions take place on a basketball size field, with 6 referees, announcers, and will be live streamed on Twitch.

.-"Fun event this past weekend at TC West. We finished 6th and were Alliance Captain 5 joined by Team 5535 Bionic Bison and Team 5110 Robo Herd. Honored to win the Team Sustainability Award sponsored by DOW. Our official event volunteers had a great experience and our pit teammates 5560 won the Judges' Award. About the Competition

At the competition they totally rocked it and got 6th place! They won a title called Alliance Captain 5, showing how smart they are at strategy and building robots.


They teamed up with two other teams, Team 5535 Bionic Bison and Team 5110 Robo Herd, and together they were an unstoppable robot team. They faced challenges together and impressed everyone there.


They also got an award for being super eco-friendly, sponsored by DOW. It showed how they care about the environment while also being great at building robots.


Team 5560 also rocked it and got the Judges' Award for being great sports and doing awesome throughout the whole event.


They also gave a shoutout to their hosts, the TC Titans FRC 3767 and FRC Team 1711, for being awesome and helping make the whole thing a success. It showed how everyone in the robotics community is like a big family, helping each other out.


The Ironbots did great at the competition, showing everyone what teamwork, innovation, and caring about the environment can do.


March 29-30 Event and End of Season Summary


The Mancelona Robotics team traveled to CMU in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan for their final event. When they arrived they did great in their final event. They made it top 8 in alliances and made it to playoffs. They unfortunately didn't win any awards for their performance. They had two alliance partners that helped them make it to where they did. Those partners were team 4398 and team 7160.=
