6th/7th/8th Grade Band Curriculum Summary

In 6th/7th/8th Grade Band, we expand on the fundamentals we learned in 5th Grade Band. We refine our skills to be better in tune and in tone, and take what we know and perform more often. In this ensemble students are introduced to Band Festival, where they get feedback from professionals in the music world, and get opportunities to perform with the high schoolers at Bass Festival. They have more opportunities to show off their skills while still working on their fundamental music development in the classroom.

In 6th/7th/8th Grade Band we also like to focus on community. We are a team and as a team we work to create quality music. Through this, we learn to listen to each other and cooperate with one another to create something we are proud to share with the Mancelona community.
