Manaiakalani mo Pasifika
Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Kia orana, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Taloha ni, Bula vinaka and Pacific greetings. Our programme is dedicated to empowering Pasifika learners by providing innovative digital learning opportunities that promote digital fluency, that support all curriculum areas.
We work closely with teachers and school communities to provide ongoing support and professional development to ensure that all learners have the tools they need to succeed. We're excited to have you join us on this journey and look forward to working together to create a more equitable and inclusive education system that empowers all learners.

Pasifika leadership
Andrea is the Manaiakalani Team and Network contact for principals and teachers seeking support for delivery to Pasifika learners, bringing ideas and assistance to remove barriers and enhance learning with the affordances of digital technology.
One of Andrea's ongoing tasks is to create and maintain this site to bring together and share content and resources developed by teachers and others. This would be used as a reference for Manaiakalani teachers and PLD facilitators, and provide connections for learning in Pasifika languages as well as English.
Whānau engagement
Develop content to support schools to engage effectively with their Pasifika parent communities. This is likely to include:
Identifying existing examples, practices, tools and approaches that will be of value to Manaiakalani network schools
Investigating good examples of approaches and content for engagement at the community level in relation to learning in a digital and hybrid world
