How does my child schedule an appointment with their School Counselor?
Students can stop by the Counseling Office in between classses, before/after school or during lunch to schedule an appointment with their counselor. Students can also email their counselors to request a time to meet during the school day.

How do I report an absence for my child
When your child misses school, you are required to report the absence. You can report either by phone or online

How do I find out more about Middle School Athletics?
7th and 8th grade students are eligible for Modified Sports. Please visit the district's Athletics website for more information: https://www.mamkschools.org/parents-community/athletics
What if I need help paying for lunch?
Please see your counselor or school Social Worker, Adonis Calderon (acalderon@mamkschools.org), for an application for free/reduced lunch.
Where do I go if I lost my phone (or another personal item)?
Please go to “lost and found” by the pool entrance. If you think something was stolen from you, fill out a report in the AP’s office.
What should I do if I’d like to get my “working papers”?
Please go to the Main office in the commons.
What should I do if my child needs to get picked up early?
You can sign your child out at the main entrance. Please arrive a few minutes early to give our staff time to locate your child and get them to the front desk.
If you are planning on having a babysitter/relative/neighbor pick up your child, they must be listed as an "emergency contact" and have a valid photo ID. You can update your emergency contact information on the parent portal.
Who do I notify if I’m late for class?
Go directly to the class. Do not stop at the Counseling Office to ask for a pass.
