7th Grade Exploring Music

In 7th grade, students have the option to remain in their performing ensemble, or choose to participate in the exploring music program.

In this course, students continue to build upon the skills acquired during students’ 6th grade experience, with a larger focus on electronic music, arrangement, and composition. In addition to acquiring strong ukulele, percussion, music theory, and piano skills, 7th Grade general music students spend time in the eMusic Lab where they begin the process of learning how to compose music electronically while grappling with an abundance of concepts related to eMusic!
