My Career & Education:

I currently serve as the district's school counselor. Before August 2022, I served as a mathematics teacher, head of the math department, and tutoring/credit recovery coordinator. This is my sixteenth year in the district and I still love what I do! I graduated from Mountain Pine High School in Mountain Pine, AR in 2004. From there, I decided to attend Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR and this is where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in May of 2008. I attended the University of Central Arkansas from 2017 to 2019 and received my Master of Science degree in school counseling.

I am 36 years old with a wonderful family. I have two young daughters, Khyri and Rin. Besides spending time with family and friends, I also enjoy singing, coloring/drawing, carpentry, and various forms of crafting. My students are a huge part of my life and I constantly strive to be a better educator. I have always had a passion for helping people and I hope to pass that way of thinking on to my children.
