Meet your librarian, Mr Nedell

Hi, I'm Mr Nedell. You may remember me from such other libraries the Salemwood School and the Linden STEAM Academy, and all the other K-8 schools in Malden since from 2017 to 2024, I was also the Traveling K-8 Librarian for the Malden Public Schools. I was also the Reference and Local History Librarian and even the Systems Administrator for the Library's computer network at the Malden Public Library across the street. where I served the community for over ten years when some of you were still little.

As of the Fall of 2024, I am now the Librarian for Malden High School, succeeding Ms Liberge.  I will aim to provide you, the students here at Malden HIgh School, with a safe space where all are welcome to learn, explore, relax and gain a greater appreciation to the world of reading. Hopefully many of you will will already be acquainted with me from my years as the K-8 Traveling Librarian. 

Fun Fact: I am also an amateur actor. I was a member of the cast  the Malden Community Theatre's 2023 production of 35MM : A Musical Exhibition. In the Spring of 2024 I played the roles of the entire faculty in Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic for The Theatre Company of Saugus.  Meanwhile, in the Summer of 2024 I was in the Post Meridian Radio Players adaptation of the Arsène Lupin short story The Black Pearl. I also appeared on the paranormal investigation program The Dead Files in 2014 as "Local Genealogist" in the episode "Dark Inheritence".
