Must request a lunch pass from Mr Nedell ahead of time (limit of 10)

LIBRARY SIGN UP

Students will need a written pass from their teacher or from SSC to come to the Library. BATHROOM AND "WALKING" PASSES ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Students will also need to fill out an online sign up form and check in with Mr Nedell immediately upon entering the Library. Anyone using the Library is expected to respect the Library and the other students.

Students can read a book, work on school work, meet with friends (socializing quietly), work on a puzzle, play a game or visit our Library Creative Space to work on an art activity.

Access tens of thousands of ebooks, digital audiobooks and magazines, many in two dozen different languages. Manga and comics, horror, romance, memoirs, non-fiction and new fiction.

The Malden Public Library is just across the street from Malden High School. It has a large collection of print books, manga and graphic novels, movies and TV shows on DVD and Blu-Ray, console games and many other titles you can borrow for free. If you need to apply for a library card, go to the Malden Public Library and fill out an application. Show them your address from your Aspen/X2 account.

Libby is an online reading platforms that include e-books and audiobooks. It has a wide selection but has a limited number of people who can borrow a title at one time. What's New in the Library?

CREATIVE SPACE

Students have been enjoying a chance to be creative in our Creative Space located in the back of the library. We have perler beads, origami, washi tape, crocheting/knitting, jewelry making supplies, keva planks, legos, weaving, coloring, diamond dot art, paper art, zentangles, puzzles and games. If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to see here, please let Mr Nedell know.
