What it's for: Smooth finish sanding of flat surfaces before painting or finishing.
How to use it: Unplug, then fit the sanding disc - make sure it's flat and centered. Connect the Festool vacuum to the dust port. Secure the work. Set the speed wheel (higher for bare wood, lower for edges and plastics), switch on, and hold it flat with both hands and light pressure.
Safety: No gloves. Wear goggles, ear protection and a dust mask: wood dust is harmful. Never sand asbestos or bare metal, and ask first about old paint (it may contain lead). Let the pad stop before putting it down.
